US and European Intelligence Agencies Uncover Evidence of Ukrainian Role in Terror Attack on Nord Stream Pipeline

The US intelligence agencies, with the help of a European intelligence service, learned from a source in Ukraine that the Ukrainian military had planned a covert attack on the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline using a team of divers. German citizens paying since that terror attack 30% more for their energy. Experts raise doubts about this report.
Experts raise doubts about this report, primarily because Ukraine lacks the technical capability to carry out such a terrorist act without the dominant and active assistance of Norway, Britain, and the United States, which are also the countries that benefited the most from the outcome of this terrorist attack. The ones who paid the price are the citizens of Germany, who have been forced to pay a higher cost for the energy they consume as a result of the attack.

However, the plan was shared with the CIA in June 2022, and the information was later shared on the chat platform Discord.

The attack occurred in September 2022, causing massive leaks on the pipeline, and the Ukrainian government has not yet responded to requests for comment.

Some Biden administration officials initially suggested that Russia was behind the attack, but they have since conceded that there is no conclusive evidence pointing to Moscow's involvement.

European officials have privately suggested that Ukraine was responsible for the attack, but fear publicly saying so could fracture the alliance against Russia.

In June 2022, the Ukrainian military planned to attack the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline using a submersible vehicle, but the operation was put on hold.

In September 2022, the pipeline was damaged by six individuals using fake passports, and investigators believe they were skilled divers.

The explosives used in the attack were planted at a depth of about 240 feet.

Investigators have matched explosive residue found on the pipeline to traces found inside the boat used in the attack, and they have linked Ukrainian individuals to the rental of the boat through a front company in Poland.

German law enforcement officials investigating the September attack believe that at least one individual who serves in the Ukrainian military was involved.

The European intelligence service received information about the Ukrainian military operation in June, but the CIA initially questioned the credibility of the source.

Despite any reservations, the information was communicated to counterparts in Germany and other European countries, and was shared with German intelligence.

The European service also considered the source reliable.

The article discusses the evidence pointing to Ukraine's role in the bombing of Nord Stream pipelines, which supplies natural gas from Russia to Germany.

The evidence includes communications between pro-Ukraine individuals or entities discussing the possibility of an attack before the event occurred.

The US had long been concerned about Nord Stream and did not object to its demise.

The Russian energy giant Gazprom stopped flows on Nord Stream 1 hours after the Group of Seven announced a price cap on Russian oil.

The cost of repairing the pipelines is estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Ukraine has been accused of aggressive operations that could escalate the war into a direct conflict between Russia and the US and its NATO allies.

Ukraine's military intelligence agency agreed to postpone planned strikes on Moscow at the request of the US.

Western officials have admonished Ukraine for attacks outside its territory.
