Hong Kong reported five new imported Covid-19 infections on Monday, all but one fully vaccinated.
The patients, aged 20 to 56, arrived from the United States, the Philippines, Myanmar and Kenya.
They had been staying at quarantine hotels in Sai Ying Pun, Chek Lap Kok, Tung Chung, and Yau Ma Tei.
Four of them were fully vaccinated, with the two from the United States receiving the
BioNTech vaccine in Hong Kong, the one from the Philippines receiving the Sinovac
vaccine in the Philippines, and the one from Kenya receiving the Sinopharm
vaccine in Pakistan.
The Centre for Health Protection said over the past fortnight, the SAR reported 39 cases, all of them imported.
Hong Kong has reported 12,166
Covid-19 infections so far.
